Daily Painting 5 (Friday's, though really done Saturday). 1 hour. Here on Tumblr.
So far as quietly eerie landscapes go, I think nothing beats marshes.
This was about experimenting with some new color mixes I'd made, more playing with wet-in-wet to create atmosphere, and a bit of peaceful detailing and stylization after the more naturalistic landscape here. I was really happy with some of the marks I was able to create doing the leaves, and hope I can recreate them.
