Trying to break down my fear of backgrounds the fun way. First, natural settings!
30 and 15 minutes. Palette: cobalt blue hue, yellow ochre, and burnt sienna, plus a little bit of crimson lake for the one on the right.

The mood of your artwork always takes me to such nice places; probably why you will always be one of the very few artists whom I pay real attention to. If you ever decide to do an artist's world journey in your lifetime, please stop by the Hebridean islands and do some landscape art there. Your skills would be an absolutely perfect match for it.
