The Black Letters

Thu Aug 13, 2009, 9:56 AM
My best friend and I recently started a literary/book review blog - if you're at all interested in fantasy, sci-fi, weird fiction, graphic novels and comics, poetry, historical fiction, classics, contemporary fiction, or any of the above, come by and pay us a visit!

The Black Letters: a blog for bibliophiles

Prints of many of my recent ACEOs (art cards) are now available at my Etsy shop, along with several originals. Take a look if you're interested in owning my work! I also sell knit accessories and various other handmade trinkets.

Sweet! I would totally offer you art in exchange except that I'm ridiculously busy. ;o; But congratulations? And thanks for taking the time to let me know.

No worries, I do about the same thing much of the time. >_> Big guilt trip in particular because the CP has been reeeeally low on activity for years now. It's just so hard to keep up with everything though!

College has been awesome - well, 50% stressful and 50% awesome. I don't quite know what I'm going to do after yet, but I've been studying biology & creative writing.

I'm glad it's coming together for you. :) What have you been up to in particular? (if you feel like saying)
:iconmisterastigmatist:
Does the CP still exist, even? I haven't checked up there in, well...forever, haha. You are right, it's not easy to keep up with things, especially as our lives keep changing and progressing.

I'm glad you're having fun at college, even if it's a bit stressful. :P I wish you the best in your endeavors afterwards, though.

Been up to catching up in college and changing myself. There are a lot of changes I need to make, and it's a shame I learned about it the hard way, but it probably could have been a lot worse. Life is a bit overwhelming right now, but I'm working on pulling through.

Oh, yeah, the CP is still around, and populated by some of the hardcore folk - Syr (Starluck), Ruthie, Kimi, Tlouey, Wolfie, et al. :) I pop in once in a while. You should go back and say hi if you have the chance!

Thanks for the good wishes; they're appreciated. :3

Change is hard, but it's good when you've hit that stage that you realize how much you need to change, I think. It can be empowering to have something that you feel you need to work towards, even if you keep backsliding (like me, ahem). One thing at a time, onwards and upwards. *hugs*
:iconmisterastigmatist:
I would if I could remember my password...haha. I don't even remember the password to the email I used way back when.

How do you keep backsliding, if I may ask? How do you get back up? Recently, I've been drawing a bit more, especially for someone who is very special to me as a form of an apology and a promise. It feels so invigorating, and I feel like I'm on fire.

::hugs back::
